Teach Em

We love teaching the skills we have learned, developed, and honed over the years. We have taught courses from Oregon to Maine, Utah to Massachusetts. We are now winding down our remote teaching and getting ready to teach here in our own shop in Flagstaff.

We start boatbuilding courses with a (likely inaccurate) set of numbers called a Table of Offsets. We then loft the boat full size, perfect the design, build all the parts, and assemble the boat. You’ll learn just about everything you need to build a dory Fretwater style. Check our Fretwaterlines blogs for course announcements.
