McKenzies Woodie’s Last Boat

In 2023 the Hurt family donated a boat to the McKenzie River Discovery Center. It is believed to be the last boat Woodie Hindman ever built. Cricket and Brad were on site when it arrived and it was Cricket that quickly noticed the differences in the curves from the earlier Hindman replicas we had been building for many years. She’s beamier and far more graceful. We took her lines, lofted her, and have been building this design ever since.
