Briggs

The archetype Grand Canyon Dory was designed by Jerry Briggs in 1971. Nearly all modern whitewater dories are based on the Briggs. It is a Rogue River style, as opposed to a McKenzie, meaning it has a fuller back end, a flatter, straighter midsection, and an undeniably sexier shape. Plus they work way better in huge whitewater.
