Tombigbee was built by Paul Butler in Montana back in 1985. She’s a big stitch-and-glue dory and served many years in Grand Canyon for Martin Litton. She had a bad ride down the right shore of Lower Lava Falls a few years back, mangling her bow, stern, and gunwales. In 2014 we went through and repaired her. “I never liked those skinny gunwales anyhow,” says her owner.
