This isn’t, by any means, a replica. But there’s no other category to put her in. We were getting ready to build a suite of San Juan Punts when a friend asked if we were going to build a Doryak-size one. We immediately responded, “A Puntiac?” And with that, we had to build one. Five days later she was done. A test float at Lee’s Ferry found her to be astonishingly stable and spinable. We are excited to get her on the San Juan this summer.
