Atlantic Lapstrake Dories

Although river dories resemble ocean dories somewhat in their above-water appearance, they are quite different down below. Nor are they evolutionarily related to each other. But that doesn’t keep us from being obsessed with the old lapstrake ocean dories of New England. They are time consuming to rivet together but it’s so rewarding.
